From the Dean
Our 2009-2010 SEMNAGO is drawing to a close. Our final event will be Sunday, May 23. AGO member Lee Afdahl will host our end-of-the-year picnic. Beverage, plates, utensils will be provided. The meal will be catered by Patrick Moran. The menu consists of pulled pork/pulled chicken, potato and macaroni salad, baked beans, and brownies and bars. Gluten-free menu available.
Cost: FREE! Your chapter will pay for this delicious meal. All you need to do is bring yourself (and one guest) and a lawn chair.
During the picnic, we'll have a brief business meeting to elect the 2010-2012 officers/board members and to discuss the feasibility of our chapter holding a regional conference (see March/April newsletter for more details).
Please RSVP to me by May 16 at the latest if you plan to attend. Also, indicate if you need a gluten-free menu. We thank Lee and Van for hosting this fun event!
On a personal note, it's been a privilege to serve as Chapter Dean for the past two years. I'm thankful for the opportunity to help our Chapter and I'm also very grateful for our Executive Board
who has taken initiative in planning and hosting various activities. Please convey your thanks to our Board Members for the hard work they have done!
Rev. Scott Schilbe, Dean
